OTTAWA (ap) — De eerste Canadese patiënten die legaal marihuana voor medisch gebruik roken, vinden de staatswiet ,,walgelijk” en eisen hun geld terug. ,,Het is totaal ongeschikt voor consumptie”, zegt de 58-jarige aidspatiënt Jim Wakeford.
Samen met Barrie Dalley, een 52-jarige patiënt die wiet rookt om de misselijkheid als gevolg van aids tegen te gaan, levert hij zijn zakje met dertig gram wiet weer in. De honderd euro die hij ervoor heeft betaald, wil hij terug. [De Standaard]
