I am an American and thank god there are not many of them like us here.

  7. Drunk, retarded and insane ain’t no way to go through life, girl!!!

  9. We have a small problem with inbreeding in some of our communities.

  10. On behalf of Americans everywhere, I would like to apologize for the extreme picture this woman paints of our culture, people, and ideals. She is an anomaly. She does not represent the country- Only her own warped views.

Of course, she is sadly misinformed. We’re not “at war” with Iraq or Iran. Iraqis and Iranians are not “Arabs” (They’re Persian). Obama is not in any way Arabic (or Persian). “Hussein” is one of the most popular names in the world, and should in no way be considered an indicator of someone’s allegiances.

Please, people of the world, be patient with us. The United States is doing everything it can, as a nation, to undo the damage done by allowing George W. Bush to become President. We’re not the backward hicks you see here. We’re a nation of mostly-decent people who are unfortunately plagued with a few idiots who shout a bit louder than the rest of us.

Just think of it this way: You wouldn’t want the dumbest people in your country to be considered an example of what everyone there is like, would you?

There are no words for how sad I am at seeing an example of the poor education, bigotry, and ignorance my country holds hidden within its heart.

As K said, these individuals are poor representatives of the people I see around me every day, most of whom are kind, generous, and civil, even when we hold deep ideological disagreements.

In our current political climate, many people with extreme views and a predisposition towards violence congregate out of fear stirred by less-than-scrupulous politicians. I hope this changes in the near future. I know that many people my age tire of the fear tactics used by the media, politicians, and others that have a great deal to gain by manipulating peoples’ behavior.

Even those who were initially trusting are beginning to learn to think for themselves and evaluate political positions by their merits, and politicians by their actions, not just their words.

I’ve seen it happen. Those of us who are trying, in our own small way, to make this USA – and hopefully, the world – a better place need all the support we can get.

  12. […] but no way she even makes it past iowa and new hampshire. even republicans aren’t that stupid.Wanna bet? […]
