America. Land of opportunity.

Baby monitors recalled–rechargeable battery can cause the monitor’s “parent” unit to smoke and flame. Bean bags recalled. The bean bags contain small polystyrene beads that present suffocation and strangulation hazards to young children who may inhale the small beads. Monsters, Inc. book recalled. The snap that secures the book could detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

Folding chairs recalled. Some of the legs on these chairs were mis-assembled by the installer and a piece of the chair could be bent out of shape. This can allow the chair to collapse during use causing consumers to suffer injuries from falls. Erasers recalled. The erasers resemble Halloween items such as pumpkins, skulls, bats and ghosts and because of their bright colors and size could be mistaken for candy. Futons recalled–the boric acid flame retardant inside the futons may not have been evenly disbursed. This could result in burn injuries, should one of these futons catch fire.

Pillows recalled! Infant pillows and cushions have been banned under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act because they pose a potential suffocation hazard to infants.
