Arguably the oddest, coolest, most over-the-top concept ever, the Dodge Tomahawk turned some heads and opened some ears at this year’s show. This Viper-powered, four-wheel single-rider features a two-speed gearbox and four-wheel independent suspension, and produces 500 horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque, yet weighs only 1500 pounds. Emitting an exhaust not reminiscent of Bill Elliott’s Intrepid, the Tomahawk is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds, according to Dodge, although we doubt that anyone has actually tried it, or its estimated top speed of 300-plus mph.
