  • Zombie in my Pocket is a print-and-play game solo game (see the files section below). The game is free, fits in your pocket, and the modular board combined with the development cards make it a different game every time.

In Zombie in my Pocket, you're searching for the secret of the evil temple where you can find the item to destroy the zombies rising from the dead. You can pick up items to bash zombies along the way; a machete, golf club, chain saw, or even your former uncle's grisly femur.

Find the zombie totem, then bury it in the backyard graveyard before midnight and you've saved the world. Otherwise, you're zombie food.

  • Being an Evil Overlord seems to be a good career choice. It pays well, there are all sorts of perks and you can set your own hours. However every Evil Overlord I've read about in books or seen in movies invariably gets overthrown and destroyed in the end. I've noticed that no matter whether they are barbarian lords, deranged wizards, mad scientists, or alien invaders, they always seem to make the same basic mistakes every single time.

  • The Five Families were established by Charlie "Lucky" Luciano in the wake of the Castellammarese War (1929 – September 10, 1931), a gang war in New York between partisans of Joe "The Boss" Masseria and those of Salvatore Maranzano. The arrangement, under the administration of The Commission, was created to divide the city among the gangs with mutual interests, and prevent the continuous grab for more territory. Of course, the arrangement has been anything but peaceful, and the Five Families have all gone through periods of prosperity and decline. So who are they, and how are they doing now?

  • Videogames are brilliant, aren't they? Namco brings a port of its original arcade game Muscle March to WiiWare in Japan on May 26th. The premise? If it's not abundantly clear above: after a pro football player steals the all-important protein powder, it's up to March's rippled stars to strike the pose of the wall-smasher in front of you to keep the march moving and bring the thief to justice.

  • Earlier this week we learned that Microsoft would be giving out the Office 2010 Technical Preview to select testers on an invite-only basis. In January, screenshots of the alpha (then still codenamed Office 14) were leaked a week after select testers got them. This time, testers don't even have the Technical Preview yet, but new screenshots have already arrived (see below).
