Zoudt ge willen geloven dat ik al twee uur verspeeld heb met alleen maar de werkomgeving weer opzetten op mijn computer? En git te temmen? En database-shizzle in orde te krijgen? En ime en thumbnail caches en statische-file-generators? En mij te herinneren hoe het weer zat met virtualenv op de server?
Maar hey! ’t Is allemaal (denk ik) (hoop ik) in orde. En dus kan er een marathon beginnen. Met allemaal dingen die er eenvoudig uitzien maar eigenlijk zeer lastig zijn, en allerlei dingen die er zeer moeilijk uitzien maar eigenlijk doodsimpel.

Het onderwerp van de wedstrijd is vrouwen, en dan mag elk Wikipedia-drama vermenigvuldigd worden met vele keren.
De eerste reactie merkte op dat er wél een automatische tool is om copyrightschendingen te vlaggen (NB niet al de andere criteria), maar de tweede reactie was er meteen bovenarms op:

Niet dat het slecht was of zo, maar ’t was toch zeer duidelijk geschreven in episodes, en allemaal een eerste draft, en er waren hier en daar toch momenten dat ik dacht dat een beetje redactie zou geholpen hebben.
Die keer dat het verhaal zonder boe of ba plots anderhalf jaar in de toekomst sprong, bijvoorbeel, terwijl het de 8000 bladzijden ervoor bijna een dag-per-dag-vertelling was.

Op naar al die andere boeken die op mijn todo-lijst stonden. Te beginnen met, jawel, de laatste worp van Renowned Dan Brown. Origin is de naam, en ik ben nog maar net begonnen en ’t is al van dat.
